This year Chi Lăng's Ấ u Đoàn Front and Back leaders will lead this Holiday Giving drive. Please support our scouts and those in needs. The drive will start on Sunday 11/11/2018. Additional information is below.
Reminders
- Sunday 11/4/2018 no meeting. Trưởng and Tráng Đoàn will have training meeting from 8pm-1pm
- We will resume Liên Đoàn meeting on Sunday 11/11/2018 at Windsor Park

Hi All,
It's a season of giving. Au Doan front & back leaders will lead Holiday Giving Drive. They'll be collecting New toys for Operation Santa Claus & canned / dried food for Orange County Food Bank. They'll have barrels available at every Scout meeting for collection. Please see attachments for suggested toys but you can donate whatever it works for you.
Let me briefly tell you a history of Operation Santa Claus & Orange County Food Bank.
Operation Santa Claus is an annual county-based holiday gift program for needy children and teens that are served by the County of Orange. Operation Santa Claus conducts a gift drive and distributes gifts to children who are abandoned, neglected, abused, or placed in foster care. There are thousands of children entered into Foster Care system each month. They only receive gifts twice a year (Birthday & Christmas). If no / little donations, they don't have such memorable, special day.
Orange County Food bank's goal is to enhance the quality of life in Orange County by eliminating and preventing the causes and effects of poverty. By donating food to O.C. food Bank, we help to end hunger among unfortunate individuals.
Let's lend a helping hand to these organizations. Shall we? By doing so, we also teach our children about Giving.
Deadline for donation is December 9, 2018.
